Caitlin Smith and Ben McNicoll duo

Circling each other over the years, like binary stars who didn't know it yet, it was inevitable that these two musicians would end up in a mutual orbit. Founded in mutual admiration, through working together with Auckland Jazz Orchestra, and numerous guest appearances at each others' gigs, Caitlin Smith and Ben McNicoll finally come together to explore their love of lyric and melody. 

Pairing the sounds of soprano and alto saxes, and bass clarinet with Caitlin's soaring vocal range and soulful keys, the duo weave a path through their favourite song poems by Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, and more, and wonderful original songs by Caitlin.
